[olympics, over.]

The olympics are over. Wow, that seemed so fast. It's hard to realize that the next summer olympics are gonna happen after we graduate from high school. London 2012. Anyone want to go with me?

ASB retreat's the day after tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to it! (: But I'm seriously like going to die because of the weather. I don't really like having my skin burn in 100 degree weather. And I also don't like it because that I'm not going to be able to compare schedules with everyone else on pickup day. D:

Anyways, my posts I realized are getting shorter and shorter. Like someone else's. ;D

I'll try to post longer when school starts.

[i'll run away with you by my side]

Short post today. And very simple.

Go listen to Echo by Trapt. That's my new favorite song. Seriously, power ballads ftw.

And goodbye to my cousins from Toronto. See you guys next year!

[back from sequoia. vidlogs!]

Hey everyone...Sequoia was great. Trees everywhere, mountains, fresh air...

That's right. When we got there, we found out that Sequoia National Park actually has THE WORST air quality of all National Parks. I didn't really notice, but apparently the people near us from Utah did. But then I remembered that I live in LA.

Hmm...what did I learn there.

- All food MUST go into these big metal bearproof boxes. We don't want the bears coming and visiting us at night.

- When smooth rocks are wet, don't step on them. I slipped. Watch VidLog #7 and you'll see what I mean.

- Don't smoke when there's dry grass everywhere. Apparently, someone threw out a cigarette butt and started a forest fire that started today. Retard.

- My whole family is pretty racial-IST. [Watch VidLog #1]

We saw these Jews on the trail...ORTHODOX jews. With all the braids and the beards and stuff. Me and my cousins started laughing so hard when we saw them..[we're sad, sad, racial-ist people.]

-YouTube sucks in that the interestinger videos in my VidLog [#3 & #7] load ridiculously slow. So..just open those and let them load I guess. =/ Sorry.

And finally, here's the link to the 11 videos in the VidLog:

VidLog!

Enjoy!

[it's been a while & leaving for sequoia.]

I haven't posted in a while, and there wasn't much to talk about. I'm leaving for Sequoia soon, and I don't really have a brain right now to think [it's 3am.]

I'll try to post more when I get back, and I might be able to get on the internet if there's magically Wi-Fi in the woods. [There was Wi-Fi when we went camping up in Morro Bay. Which was weird since everything around us was like trees and tents, and then BAM there's Wi-Fi.]

I'm not sure if I'll get cell phone reception up there, but I know the city of Visalia, CA [entrance to Sequoia] has reception, so I'll try to call there I guess when we're going around. Who knows, I might end up going to Fresno just to see how it's like.

Anyways, bye guys. (: GARAGE SALE TOMORROW. Make sure to make lots of money!

[reminiscing, remembering, & rattle shoes]

Today I was at a funeral, and like it was really amazing. The person that passed away was the founding pastor's wife of my church. The part that really was amazing is the fact that her life touched so many people at my church. The part that made me almost cry though was the part where the pastor came up to the podium and gave the prayer for everyone to leave, and he was like "thank you for making her beautiful, thank you for giving her to me for 60 years...and then he just broke down and started crying."

Dang, I started really thinking about life after this service.

If you didn't realize this, we have no idea when we're going to die, honestly. For all I know, as I'm typing this, a sniper could be aiming for my head and I could die within the next 10 seconds. Or someone could ram into my car tomorrow as I'm headed to the NSO meeting [go by the way, 1:30pm @ ASB room]

But honestly, we should live every day as if it's a gift.

Okay that was pretty deep. Shallow noninformative part follows on the bottom.

I really want to upgrade my iPhone software to 2.0 through iTunes, but I can't because it's hacked. D: I'm still stuck with 1.1.4 and I really want to upgrade it. There's a pretty cool feature on iPhone 2.0 called "Remote" that basically lets you control your entire iTunes library just by using your phone. So basically, if you don't want to get out of bed but you want to put on a song on your computer speakers, grab your iPhone, tap any song, let's say "The Red" by Chevelle and then it'll play on your computer speakers instantly. If that's not nifty and useful, I don't know what is.

The Remote feature works on both the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Unfortunately, for those of you using the iPod Touch, it costs $20. For us iPhone users, it's free. (:

But then us iPhone users get screwed over with the horrible external speakers and recessed headphone jack [meaning you can only use the white Apple headphones].

Anyways, tell me which of my posts that you've liked the best so far. I want to make my blog more fun an interesting to read rather than a "skim the first paragraph, ignore the rest."

[my foot is crying.]

So I stayed up til about 3:30am because I couldn't sleep last night..I just laid in bed and stared at the wall. AND THEN, out of a random thought...I remembered it was Tuesday.

Tuesday's the day that Rock Band's downloadable content comes out.

So I decided to go downstairs and download the stuff, played BYOB. After I finished, my foot started crying. Do you know what it feels like to hit 4 bass notes every second? It makes your foot weep.

And then, yeah, I've been pretty depressed lately. There's a lot of stuff that's been going on, and then a piece of information that I got yesterday just made it a bit worse. I'll give the specifics of it later. This is actually a pretty early post in my book. x)

[vicious.]

Went to Tony's house for planning on the NSO skit. His dog. Looks so innocent, it's white. But inside, it just wants blood. My blood, specifically. It scratched me under my nail and it started bleeding. -.-

Short post today. I'll post some more tomorrow. (:

[redone living room.]

My whole living room today got shifted around. Basically if you've been to my house before, we turned all the couches and sofas around so that they're facing the dining room, and the TV is where the long couch used to be. Actually, I love this new setup because it makes a lot more sense and it makes the room look more homey.

Also, I brought down my stereo speakers that I haven't used [they're oldish, but they're still really good quality sound and there's a bass that's hella LOUD.] and took them downstairs, hooked them up to my TV, popped in my OneRepublic CD into my Xbox 360, and then I listened and I'm like "Holy shit. Why haven't I done this before." So yeah. It was like BOOM LOUD and AMAZING SOUND. So I'm leaving my stereo speakers downstairs. Haha and now, I have a stereo with no speakers. But it has a broken CD player anyways, and the radio sucks. I'd rather listen to online radio since KIIS and STAR both have online feeds. I just have both running at the same time and then switch between the two. (:

On a side note, I should start sleeping early. Like seriously.

[ikea likes to tempt you.]

So I went to IKEA today, and man, that place is honestly the best place to go when you're tired. But I really hate how they decide, "Hey, let's make these great kitchen displays that NO ONE is ever going to possibly have."

Seriously, those kitchens are so nice that I could live there. All they need is free Wi-Fi, and then I could seriously live there. Honestly, what else do you need? There's beds everywhere, couches, and a place on the 1st floor that sells incredibly good yet ridiculously cheap food. My family today, while we were there, bought 3 hot dogs, 3 cinnamon buns, 3 sodas, and a cup of coffee for $7. No that's not a typo, SEVEN DOLLARS bought all of that. It's incredible. Also, IKEA has this thing in the morning where they'll sell 2 strips of bacon and 2 scrambled eggs for 99 cents. It's like heaven for asians. Honestly, every time I go to IKEA I look forward to the food because it's actually REALLY good.

You've probably seen this from other places, either AIM or on my Facebook or just from me telling you, but the Light The Night Walk for Leukemia is on September 20th from 5-10pm at Angel Stadium. And basically it's a fun night of music, free food from Chick Fil A, and a two mile walk when we all carry balloons with lights inside. Supporters of leukemia get to hold red balloons, while survivors hold white ones. And afterward, it usually ends up turning into..semi-danceish? Because there's music. I remember last year hearing a lot of really good music. Anyways, here's the link if you want to register.

http://teams.lightthenight.org/WHSForJoyson

I'm encouraging you guys all to go and have a great time, and I want a lot of people to go, but remember guys, this is for leukemia. I dont want to be hearing all this crap about "lolcancer" and whatnot while we're walking. Kapish? (:

Lemme switch to my nerd mode for a second and tell you the downloadable songs for the week of August 5th for Rock Band:

System of a Down - B.Y.O.B
System of a Down - Toxicity
Buckcherry - Rescue Me
Motley Crue - Face Down In The Dirt
Sixx AM - Life Is Beautiful

I only know two of these songs, the two system songs. And OMG BYOB. That's going to be the hardest vocal song in the game, I can tell you now just by listening to it. Meanwhile, Paramore fans get That's What You Get in RB2 later, and Misery Business is apparently going to be DLC sometime later. Why don't they just release the entire Riot album on RB. >_>

So yeah, register for Light The Night guys!
